Turnera subulata or the Eight O'clock Flower is so called because it blooms every eight o'clock, with the characteristic white flower crown with yellow and brown centers and dense green leaves, meanwhile according to some sources this flower is a palace for Sycanus, a blooms kind of predator which helps prey on caterpillar pests fire. Sycanus resided and sourced food from within the Turnera Subulata.
