Stock Photo: Classic Barn In Jackson Hole, Wyoming

ID 253114740 © Gettysburg | Megapixl.com

This photograph is of a barn on the Thomas Murphy homestead. Thomas Murphy first entered Jackson Hole in 1908 and settled in a small Morman `line village` along a community road. In 1920 Joe Heninger bought Murphy`s homestead and rebuilt the barn and stored mail trucks there during the summer and horses and sleighs in the winter. Non-Mormons in the area eventually called the community road, Mormon Row and the name stuck.
