Two class 153 diesel units wait at Carnforth station in Lancashire during disruptions to workings on the West Coast Main line following overrunning works at Lancaster station. On the left 153378 is at the rear of unit 153352 having arrived on a Barrow to Lancaster train that terminated here and now forming a train to Carlisle via Barrow and the Cumbrian coast. 153331 at the front of two car unit 150144 that was terminated here on arrival from Leeds instead of Lancaster.
