Portugal, district and city Viana do Castelo, Costa Verde or Green Coast region. Frontage of medieval building which looks like a fortress, but it is the old city hall, town hall, of the place. It was built in the early sixteenth century and the arches are built in Gothic architectural style. On the facade waving flags, the Portuguese flag and the flag of Europe, European flag. This historic, monumental, building on the square, Praca da Republica, is a national monument, famous landmark, cultural heritage site and tourist attraction. In front of the palace is an ancient, Renaisance fountain, water source, the Chafariz, built the mid-sixteenth century by Joao Lopez-o-Velho, also a national monument. On the square walking people, tourists, vacationers, holiday makers, during a city tour, walk. On a sunny day in late summer, fine, beautiful weather, clear blue sky, cloudless.
