The Cinnamomum camphora tree has strict environmental requirements, requiring moderate moisture, good drainage, and low stone content. , soil with more humus, prefers to grow in concave terrain with gentle slopes and wide terrain. It is only distributed in the four major mountainous areas of Taiwan: Taoyuan County, Miaoli County, Nantou County, and Kaohsiung City.
