The characteristic costume of the entroido of Verín, province of Orense, Galicia, Spain is called a cigarrón.The mask goes with the face covered with the wooden mask painted in striking colors, which extends into a kind of metal miter with a motif of animals or stars: lion, wolf, cow, ox.The suit is made up of a white camisole, a tie and a short jacket from which hang golden fringes that are tied with three-color bows. On the shoulders a scarf. A large red sash wrapped around the waist attached to the pants, perhaps the most elaborate part of the suit. On top of the sash is the belt from which the cowbells hang. The cigarrón's legs are covered with white stockings and garters. Black shoes and a "zamarra" (whip) in his hand complete the outfit of this typical character from Verín's entroido.
