Church of San Nicolò in Savoca was the filming location of some of the most iconic scenes set in The Godfather movie, such as the wedding of Michael Corleone and Apollonia. Savoca is a village in the north eastern side of the island. A quiet and crumbling hill village perched high above the sea, this is a really atmospheric taste of authentic Sicily.
