09 March 2011 - Christchurch, New Zealand. The Canterbury Provincial Council Buildings which collapsed in the massive February 22nd 2011 Earthquake. The tangle of steel pipes in the foreground are the remains of the scaffolding installed after the last big earthquake in September 2010. This small cluster of historic buildings (built 1858 to 1865) in central Christchurch are treasured by the city, both for their historical importance and their beauty.
