Kelenteng Tua Pek Kong is a Chinese temple located right in the heart of Ketapang, West Kalimantan in Indonesia. It is located in the Chinese district of the city which is actually a market place and reflects the predominant presence of Chinese population in the regency. As expected of Chinese temples, this one has a very elaborate architecture and very vibrant colors. The place is open to the public, even to tourists, and taking pictures of both the interior and the exterior of the temple is allowed. It is a good experience to simply observe the rites Chinese people carry out in this temple any time of the day.
