This was shot in Beijing on the Latern Festival of 2012, a festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar year in the Chinese calendar. A father and a girl are passing by the big red lantern which features Chinese charater Spring. The festival often contain messages of good fortune, family reunion, abundant harvest, prosperity and love. Today, the displaying of lanterns is still a major event on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month throughout China.
