Ding is one of the ancient Chinese bronze ware, three feet, two ears, engraved with delicate ornamentation. Ding was originally a kind of cooking utensils, afterwards because of worship to god a sacrifice for cooking, and increased as the sacrificial vessel, as minister of state power of the sovereign, such as symbol of power. Ding is the representative of the Chinese bronze culture. It is the witness of civilization, is also the carrier of culture. Ding in modern Chinese word despite the oracle bone inscriptions, bronze, seal script and clerical script change for many times, but still retains its ding style and form characteristics of the things, its objects the words together, almost all have rich cultural connotations.
