Xitang Town of China, under the jurisdiction of Jiashan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is located at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. Xitang has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of ancient Wuyue culture. In 2003, it was awarded the `Outstanding Achievement Award for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region` by UNESCO. In 2006, Xitang Ancient Town was included in the preliminary list of China`s World Cultural Heritage. In 2017, the ancient town of Xitang was promoted to a national 5A tourist attraction. On May 24, 2018, Xitang Town was selected as one of the top 50 small towns with the most beautiful characteristics.nThe Han culture is the main body of Chinese culture, and the Han people created splendid culture and art in ancient times.nIn the fall of 2019, the Han Culture Week will be held in Xitang, and the essence of the Han culture will be repeated.
