The Church of the Santissimo Salvatore, popularly called San Salvatore is a former religious building in the historic center of Genoa, located in Piazza Sarzano, in the Molo district. Adjacent to the former convent complex of Sant`Agostino, the church, deconsecrated after the serious damage caused by the bombings of the Second World War, has been completely renovated to house the aula magna of the faculty of architecture of the University of Genoa, which is located not far away, in the area of the former monastery of San Silvestro. Due to its capacity it can accommodate up to 340 spectators it is sometimes also used as a venue for concerts.
