Chichibu Shrine, a shrine in Chichibu, Saitama, Japan.It was founded 2,000 years ago. It is known for its annual Chichibu Night Festival held in December, and the Chichibu Night Festival (Chichibu Festival's float events and kagura) is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage as one of the Yama, Hoko, and Yatai Festivals. It is the general guardian of the Chichibu region. One of the three Chichibu shrines, along with Mitsumine Shrine and Hodosan Shrine.
