Small wooden fence, leads down to the River Thames, with Chertsey bridge behind. Designed by James Paine and built between 1783 and 1785, Chertsey Bridge spans the River Thames with it`s five stone arches. Cast iron lamposts were added at a later date. The river is the boundary between Runnymede and Spelthorne.
