Notre Dame de Valère (Basilique de Valère), also known as the Valère Castle (Château de Valère), is a fortified church in Sion in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. The Chateau de Valere was built during the 12th and 13th centuries. Sion (Sitten in German) is the capital of the Swiss canton of Valais.
