Chapel Saint Bernandin dating from the 17th century is also called Chapel of the penitents. It is dedicated to St. Bernardine of Siena, preacher and an apostle by his eloquence as bright as his science. In 1995, renovations were made for the roof and the facade. From 2007 to 2009, the interior has been restored. The inauguration of the Chapel was held on 28 June 2008 with a special tribute to Paul Martelli, who had promoted the revival of the building by devoting all his energy and founding the Friends of St. Bernardin Chapel in 2001. Finally in 2010, the altarpiece from the 17th century has also been fully restored. Now the chapel is open to the public.
