Dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception,its secondary patrons are Saint Nicholas and Saint Benedict. It is sometimes called Saint Nicholas Cathedral. The cathedral was consecrated on 11 June 1911. The Neo-Romanesque Cathedral of Monaco dates back to 1875,despite looking much older. It is a very important building for the history of Monaco as it is home to the tombs of Monaco's former Princes and Princess Grace and Prince Rainier.
