Montes Castle in the province of Valencia & x28;Spain& x29; was the headquarters of the Order of Montes and is located on top of a hill overlooking the city where the ruins of its historic castle are located. It was described as one of the strongest in the Kingdom of Valencia due to its thick walls, powerful towers and spacious parade ground, which was said to be able to accommodate up to 2,000 people. Its architectural style is Valencian Gothic.
