Caraiman Monastery is an Orthodox monastery located in the area of Busteni (logs) at the foot of the massif Caraiman. It was founded in 1998 on the initiative of worthy father priest Gherontie Puiu. On October 30, 1998 the Archdiocese of Bucharest, respectively Hermitage Caraiman receives, by City Council Resolution No. logs. 64, an area of ​​13 000 square meters of exhibition to raise the necessary construction for monastic life. Surface was subsequently supplemented with 4500 sqm and 6000 sqm in 2001 in 2002, totaling an area of ​​23 500 square meters, with legal qualification concession.
