This is a Spring picture of the state capitol building of Tennessee located in Nashville, Tennessee. The building was designed by William Strickland, is an example of Gothic Revival architecture, and the cornerstone was laid on July 4, 1845. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 8, 1970. This picture was taken on May 28, 2015.
