Butun or keben (Barringtonia asiatica) is a type of tree that grows on the beaches of the tropics, in the Indian Ocean, the Malesia region, to the islands in the western Pacific. Another name is sea tuck. The fruit floats in the water, so it is widely distributed on many islands and beaches.
