Not far from Lake Strandavatn (Norwegian: Strandavatnet) you'll find this area where there is snow and ice on the mountain tops even in July. This remote area is very popular with tourists who want to go on long-distance walks in the secluded Fjell area of western Norway. The nearest settlements are Hol and Aurland on the R50 national road.
