Although the Buon Gusto Sausage Factory building in San Franciscos Italian neighborhood of North Beach is less then 75 years old, it is already on the National Listing of Historic Places, as a reminder of the neighborhoods cultural and historic past.
In addition to the red, green and white stripping just below the name, the national colors of Italy, the whole of the building is very simple, but still nice, for a factory.
Although they closed in 1978 after only thirty years of operations, even the clock with the factory name can still be seen above the door on the left side.
As still seen on Green Street 28 September 2022.
