Thousands of Bukharan Jews from central Asia, have emigrated to Israel, particularly since the fall of the Soviet Union. Many make an effort to maintain many of their cultural traditions, such as those in this troupe entertaining at the Karmiel Dance Festival in the Galilee. Note the Jewish menorah design on the back of the robe in center. The date is July 13, 1995.
