Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Bolo-Khauz Mosque was built in 1712 by order of Emir's wife. A wooden ceiling of traditional verandah, which leans on refined columns, is decorated with fretwork and ornamented with floral and geometrical ornamental patterns. The historic centre of Bukhara is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
