The magnificent Palace de Las Aguas Corrientes, which means `Palace of flowing waters`, on the Avenue of Cordoba in the Balvanera district is officially called the Great reservoir of engineer Guillermo Villanueva. Behind its lush, richly decorated facades with elegant attics, there is a fresh water tank with a capacity of 72 million liters.
