This is a pictue of the world renown Buckingham Fountain in Chicagi, Illinois drained and prepared for winter. The background includes some of Chicago's most iconic buildings. The fountain was designed by Daniel H. Burnham and Edward H. Bennett, the Architectual styled incorporated were beaux Arts and Art Decomo, the fountain was dedicated in 1927. On July 21, 1993 the fountain was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This picture was taken on November 2, 2014.
