Located in central Bucharest, near the National Arts Museum, Cretulescu Church is a landmark of old Bucharest. The church was built between 1720–1722 by the landlord Iordache Creţulescu and his wife Safta. Although the exterior is made only of red bricks, the porch frescoes are superb and date to the original construction.
