It is located in Castellina in Chianti, Italy, and was completed in 2008 as part of a commission that included two other sculptures. The information plaque tells the story that Medieval Siena and Renaissance Florence clash in a dispute over the Chianti territory, but in the end they come together, united by the grapevine. the sculpture t stands between two olive trees and the women's bodies appear to be rising from the trunk of an olive tree in the sculpture.
