It is located in Castellina in Chianti, Italy, and was completed in 2008 as part of a commission that included two other sculptures. The information plaque tells the story that Medieval Siena and Renaissance Florence clash in a dispute over the Chianti territory, but in the end they come together, united by the grapevine. the sculpture stands between two olive trees and the women's bodies appear to be rising from the trunk of an olive tree in the sculpture.
