The gourd cabaça is a hard-shelled fruit cultivated in the north and northeast of Brazil generally used as a decoration object, it is also used to make musical instruments, pipes, masks and containers, such as water jugs. After harvesting the fruit of the gourd plant, the kernel is removed and the skin is put to dry.
