Belfast, Antrim County, Northern Ireland - January 20, 2016: The Catholic Falls Road area of Belfast. Murals in Northern Ireland have become symbols of Northern Ireland, depicting the region's past and present political and religious divisions. On the side of the headquarters building of the Irish Republican party Sinn Féin is this mural commemorating IRA prisoner Bobby Sands, who died in 1981 at age 27 as a result of a hunger strike in protest of the treatment of political prisoners at Maze Prison.
