Bill Geddie, Emmy-winning television producer at the 9th Annual Time Most Influential People Gala in New York City on April 23, 2013. Together with Barbara Walters, they created the long-running daytime talk show, on the ABC TV Network, `The View,` Geddie was the director and producer of the controversial program from 1997-2014. The duo collaborated on the Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People, an annual ABC-TV Network production which debuted in 1993 and concluded in 2015. Barbara Walters passed away at 93 in her Manhattan residence, on December 30, 2022. Geddie died from a heart ailment on July 20, 2023, at the age of 68.
