Bezdin Monastery is a 16th-century Serbian Orthodox monastery located near the villages of Sanpetru German, Secusigiu and Munar, in Arad County, Romania. The monastery is located 36 kilometers west of Arad town, on the left bank of Mures river, in close proximity to the Mure? Floodplain Natural Park, in the historical region of Banat. It was inaugurated on August 28, 1539 on the Assumption of Virgin Mary. Banat, Arad, Romania, Europe.
