This is a Summer picture of the Benjamin Franklin Monument in Lincoln Park located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. The bronze statue stands 9 feet 6 inches tall on a white granite pedestal. This piece of public art was created by Richard Henry Park in 1895. The statue was originally installed at the entrance of Lincoln Park Zoo in 1896. It was moved to the current location in 1996. This picture was taken on June 5, 18.
