Beit Gavriel, also written Gabriel, is a center for cultural and artistic events in Israel's Galilee region in the north. It is at Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) near the city of Tiberias. It opened in 1993, and shortly thereafter it was the site of meetings between Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and King Hussein of Jordan leading to a peace treaty between the two bordering nations.
