This fish is called Latin Channa Marulioides, some call it the Emperor Snakehead, but it is more popularly called Channa Maru Yellow Sentarum. This simple fish that is easy to raise is native to Indonesian waters. It is very popular because it has aggressive behavior, strikingly beautiful colors and of course the price is cheap. Recently, the maru ys fish has become popular all over the world and the price has skyrocketed, there are even reports that the price of some of them exceeds the price of arowana fish.
