Anantasamakhom Throne Hall is one of important museums in Bangkok with its stunning architectural designs.Visitors are recommended to see its beauty along with learning the historical background.It was a royal reception hall within Dusit Palace in Bangkok.During the 1932 Siamese Revolution,the Hall was used as a headquarters for the People’s Party and became Thailand’s first Parliament.It was built in Italian Renaissance style by Mario Tamagno with its remarkable large copper central dome surrounded by six smaller domes.The building was inspired by St.Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican and St.Paul’s Cathedral in London.The Hall was built from Carara,Italian white marbles with Chao Phraya Yommarat Pan Sukhum as a person in charge of the establishment.
