Batu-Batu Port, Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia. There is a daily ferry service from northeastern Kalimantan to the town sea port. The route also have always been used illegally for smuggling subsidies goods from the town to certain parts in Indonesia especially to southern Sebatik by the Indonesian smugglers due to this area are much more dependent on Tawau. Many Indonesian near the international border choose to seek a medical treatment in the town which is much more cheaper and has a better facilities compared to other towns in the Indonesian sides
