Remains of massive tower called Bastion of mining (Banícka bašta) located inside the area of Kremnica castle. This bastion was build in 15th century. Kremnica is well-preserved medieval town built above important gold mines and it is the site of the oldest still-working mint in the world. Kremica town is aspiring to be inscribed in the UNESCO List of Natural and Cultural Heritage.
