At the Fedaia Pass in the mountains of Dolomites in Italy you can find the storage reservoir Fedaia Lake bounded by this barrage. The glacier meltwater of the 3342 m high mountain of Marmolada, the highest mountain of the Dolomites, is collected in the lake and stopped by the dam (here on the left), which is used to generate Hydroelectric Power.
