Pictured is a historic bomber, the B-25 Mitchell `Berlin Express` and another WWII War Bird flying over Grand Lake, Oklahoma. The bomber is now owned by the Experimental Aircraft Association and made its first post-restoration flight on 20 April 2019 after a four and a half-year restoration. The aircraft is notably known for its role in the movie “Catch-22â€. The chief pilot Mike Hastings lives in Tulsa and travels with the plane since it began touring. It was in Tulsa July 1st through July 4th and on the 4th it participated with a group of World War II War Birds that take part in the annual 4th of July fireworks display at Duck Creek. The show has a tradition of over 80 years, and is the largest fireworks display in Oklahoma.
