ID 282167541 © Cameo | Megapixl.com

Every year there is a breeding aggregation of Australian Giant Cuttlefish (Sepia Apama) in the upper Spencer Gulf. They die soon after mating, floating to the surface where they become easy prey for marine predators, or wash ashore (Stony Point, Whyalla, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia).
