Steve Jobs, billionaire co-founder of Apple and the mastermind behind an empire of products that revolutionised computing, telephony and the music industry, has died in California at the age of 56. Steve, Apple's dynamic co-founder and one of modern times' leading visionaries, CEO of Apple from 1997 until he stepped down earlier this year, will forever be known for his impact on personal computing. Apple has created such icons as the apple mac, iMac, iPhone 4S, iPad, iPod and been the market leader in macbook laptop and desk top business and home computers.
