A southernor from Tennessee, Andrew Johnson was Vice-President and becaue the 17th President of the United States upon the assassination of Abraham Lincoln in April, 1865, just days after the North won the Civil War. Johnson bungled the job of reconstruction after the Civil War and is regarded as one of our worst chief executives. This is a full-size wax image at Madame Tussauds in Washington, DC; March 3, 2012.
