The Red Church is the Early Medieval , early Byzantine basilica built in the V-VI century AD near Perushtitsa,Plovdiv district .A monument of early Christianity and early Byzantine architecture in Bulgaria.The temple was called Virgin Mary, but has become known as the Red Church because of the typical Roman bricks and mortar pink, which is built. Today there are only some parts of the walls and dome. Reached today as majestic ruins, the church is one of the most notable early Christian monuments in Southeast Europe .
