At the sanctuary of the Mother of God of Puiggracios at the village of La Ametlla in northeastern Spain, Catalonia, a square tower built in the year 1852 used to allow telegraphic communication between the neighboring towns and cities. Different moving artifacts allowed military transmission of information according to a pre-established code. In the year 1862 this telegraphic towers were abandoned definitely, this one is in good shape as it was repaired in earlier times.
