Originally built 1925 as the Corinth Bank & Trust company, the financial institution was reorganized as The Merchants and Farmers Bank. In 1932 , Security Bank bought and merged with Merchants and Farmers Bank. In 1987, Security Bank sold the structure to the Alcorn County Board of Supervisors. It now serves as the Alcorn Chancery Court Building.
