Abe Foxman, 4 days before his 85th birthday, speaking at Temple B'nai Abraham in Livingston, NJ. He was the national director of the Anti-Defamation League from 1987 to 2015. He appeared with historian David I. Kertzer to discuss the findings of his recently released book, "The Pope at War." He also commented on the then ongoing Israel-Hamas war and the accompanying rising anti-Semitism at home and abroad, he urged Jews to be optimistic. "Look, I'm a Holocaust survivor, I have to be optimistic."
